The lead developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem contends that the elimination of 99.9% of Shiba Inu’s circulating supply is not an unattainable goal.
In a recent tweet, Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic leader of the Shiba Inu development team, asserted that reducing Shiba Inu’s current circulating supply to 0.1% of its size is a conceivable vision.
This assertive statement arose during an exchange with a Shiba Inu critic. The context of the conversation revolved around Shibarium’s impressive positive metrics, with transactions reaching a new milestone of 150 million.
In the course of the discussion, the Shiba Inu critic sarcastically suggested that Kusama should burn 99.9% of SHIB tokens, possibly using the fees accrued from Shibarium transactions. The critic added that such a hypothetical scenario could never become a reality because, in his opinion, Shiba Inu is deemed as inferior.
Contrary to the critic’s perspective, the Shiba Inu ecosystem leader responded with a counterargument. Concisely, Kusama stated,
“Nothing is impossible except for you seeing how it’s possible. We push forward.”
